It is important to Ala Carte Bookkeeping & Business Solutions to maintain policies in regards to the privacy of client information. Ala Carte does collect nonpublic personal information about the client as is provided by the client
with the client's authorization.
For current and former clients, Ala Carte does not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of practice except as required or permitted by law. Permitted disclosures might include providing information to any employees, or to third parties who need to know that information in order to assist us in providing services to you. In all such third party situations, Ala Carte does not initiate such an action unless necessary to instructions previously given by the client.
Ala Carte will retain records relating to the professional services provided to best assist the client's needs. In order to guard a client's nonpublic information, Ala Carte maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to keep information secure.
In a situation where the terms of our agreement are terminated by either party, it is the responsibility of the client to be certain all logins and security passwords are changed and accounts deactivated for access by Ala Carte Bookkeeping & Business Solutions. Once an account has been terminated, it is the practice of this company to shred confidential information and to delete any access to confidential accounts, however, often these practices must be initiated and completed by the client, such is the case with deleting user access in QuickBooks Online or AppFolio.
